Shamrock Run Reviews

I signed up for the Shamrock Run and it was easy. The site loaded without dragging forever, the steps made sense, and my payment went through without any random error messages, which is always a relief. I was kind of expecting to get stuck somewhere because that seems to happen with race registrations sometimes, but nope. Got the confirmation email right away too. Took less time than I thought it would, and then I was back to whatever I was doing before. I’d use it again...

I signed up for the Shamrock Run and felt like it was a good value. I tend to compare races by the same few things, how smooth check-in is, whether the course keeps things interesting, and if the shirt and medal feel decent, and this one checked most of those boxes. The course was fun, check-in was easy enough, and the swag was nicer than I expected. It’s not the cheapest race out there, but compared to similar events, the price felt fair to me. The only pattern I noticed that could use some work was the post-race lines, which got a little long. Still, overall it was a fun day and I’d consider doing it again.

I had a great time on this course. It had a nice mix of flat stretches and a few little climbs, so it never felt boring. The signs were super easy to follow, and the crowd was fun, fun in the best way. I’d definitely run it again.

I’m not totally sure if they were staff or volunteers, but the people there on race day were really helpful. Whenever I had a question or wasn’t sure where to go, someone seemed to point me in the right direction.

I had a good experience overall. The lines moved faster than I expected, which made things feel well organized. The only thing I noticed was that some of the signs could have been a bit clearer, but it didn’t take away too much from the experience.

The shirt and medal were actually really nice this year. I was pleasantly surprised.

Packet pickup was fine overall, but the line moved slowly. It wasn’t a total disaster or anything, just kind of annoying to stand around waiting longer than expected.
